Jamie Arbizu, CMHC, MSC

Jamie graduated from Southern Utah University with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Psychology and University of Phoenix with Master of Science in Counseling. She is licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.  She is also an adjunct professor for the University of Utah College of Social Work.  Jamie is a certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trained in Gottman Method, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. She has received training in domestic violence and has experience in working with complex trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, attachment, disruptive behavior, ADHD, autistic spectrum and bipolar disorders.

Jamie is passionate about the healing process of therapy, and enjoys seeing the impact it can have on providing a healthier lifestyle. She provides individual counseling, family therapy, couples counseling, and group counseling. Jamie and her husband are parents of one daughter and five sons in a blended family; and they are honored to call St. George their home. Jamie enjoys dancing, biking, art, music, theater, traveling, and healthy eating.

Amy Lipschultz, ACMHC, MSC

Amy Lipschultz, ACMHC, MSC

Amy Lipschultz is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Master degree in Mental Health Counseling. She has worked in the field of mental health for over 6 years, in outpatient, residential and wilderness therapy programs. As a counselor she hopes to create a safe space for individuals to be vulnerable and explore their thoughts, feelings, difficulties and hopes without fear of judgement. She believes that individuals are the experts on their own lives, and that all people are capable of positive self-directed growth. She recognizes that cultural and societal factors play an important role in mental health and that part of the therapeutic process is acknowledging and exploring these forces at play. Her trainings include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindful Self Compassion, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma Focused CBT, sand tray therapy, EMDR, and Gottman Method (Level 1).

Amy grew up in New Jersey, but has lived all over the country and currently calls Utah home. In her free time she enjoys rock climbing, hiking in the desert, crafting and traveling to new places.

Elisabeth York, CMHC, MSC

Elisabeth York, CMHC, MSC

Elisabeth grew up in a small town in northern Utah on a raspberry farm, she enjoys the small town life and being outdoors.  Elisabeth has extensive experience in Music and the Arts.  For many years she was a violin teacher until one day she realized that she wanted to work with people in a more profound capacity.  She returned to school and obtained her Master of Science as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.  She specializes in working with adults who struggle with Anxiety, Depression and ADHD. Elisabeth is focused on helping people affect change in their lives. Trauma is truly awful and it needs to be processed in an empathetic space, but for Elisabeth, the best part of therapy is seeing her clients rise above their past trauma and build beautiful lives for themselves despite the hardships that they have been through in the past.  She is grateful for the opportunity to be serving the Hurricane community.
