Research-based, Quality Counseling
Collectively, therapists in this office have been trained in modalities of Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Attachment Theory, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Neurofeedback Therapy. Clinicians receive continuing education training in ethics, suicide prevention, and many other trainings of specialized interest. Clinicians are required to receive 40 credits of continuing education every 2 years, and want to be able to share new ideas and strategies with clients based on new research that is always coming out.
Affordable Pricing
Our prices are competitive with other local therapy services, and we have many options for payments. We accept SelectHealth, Blue Cross/Blue Sheild, Wise Provider Network, and TriWest insurances. We accept Medicaid through our referral source of Southwest Behavioral Health Center. We are also referral sources with LDS Family Services and Vocational Rehabilitation. Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a service to help individuals increase quality of life and find greater meaning and purpose. Therapy can help with ameliorating stressors, troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions, and to improve relationships and social skills.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a service designed to help parents and children work through stress in the family dynamic. This service is individualized based on the need of the family.
Couples/Premarital Counseling
Couples’ counseling helps couples in relationships to recognize and to better manage/reconcile troublesome differences and repeating patterns of stress upon the relationship. Premarital counseling is a service that helps couples who are considering marriage to better understand each other, to see and discuss potential issues that may arise in their own marriage experience. This process helps prepare couples’ for a satisfying and enduring marital relationship.
Child Play Therapy
We use sandtray therapy and play therapy to help children explore their emotional and mental world. These modalities give children an opportunity to express themselves on their own level, as they reenact their world and emotional states via play.
Substance Abuse Therapy
This therapy is designed to help people with moderate to severe substance use disorders to reach goals of sobriety, strengthening family relationships, and maintaining healthy and productive lifestyles.
Prime for Life Course
PRIME For Life is an alcohol and drug program for people of all ages. It is designed to gently but powerfully challenge common beliefs and attitudes that directly contribute to high-risk alcohol and drug use. The program goals are to reduce the risk for health problems and impairment problems.
